The Eli Young Band, whos 2008 Album Jet Black and Jealous launched two hits singles on the Billboard country charts and garnered them a nomination for an Academy of Country Music award as the Top New Vocal Group or Duo.

The foursome is comprised of Mike Eli, James Young, Jon Jones and Chris Thompson from Denton, Texas.

Halfway to Hazard is a duo that takes its name from the “large” city in between the two smaller hamlets in Kentucky where they grew up. Their meet-in-the-middle blend explores the question, are they rock or are they country. Taking their influence as much from heavy metal bands as from their Kentucky mountain roots, their hit, “Party Like Rock Stars”, is a sharp contrast to “Daisy,” a country ode to a sweetheart that shows the band’s diversity. Halfway to Hazard opened dates for Tim McGraw and Faith Hill’s Soul2Soul II tour in 2007 and 2008.

Kate and Kacey are known to most country music fans for amazing performances during CMT’s Can You Duet? competition. As songwriters, the duo hit it big when George Strait recorded the song they wrote, House With No Doors. Their single, Dreaming Love will be released April 20th, just in time for the chili cook-off.

David Nail is a songwriter extraordinaire, writing songs that are bound to touch the hearts of everyday people everywhere. His music is colored by stories that everyone knows – the first time you leave home, the first time you fall in love. Nail wrote five of the 11 tracks on his recently released album, “I’m About To Come Alive” including the soulful “Red Light.”

Cecilia Lauren hails from The Acreage, and finds herself on a rocket ship to stardom after meeting Hollywood Producers Joseph Reilly and Tom Kelly earlier this year, who asked her to write and perform a song for their upcoming film,  “Destiny and the Bulldozers” slated to begin filming in June. Lauren, with an energetic move-your-body music style and a rich, huge voice, backed by the Ocoee River Band, headlined two nights at the South Florida Fair in January, and has shared the stage with Billy Currington, Whitney Duncan, Trailer Choir and Lady Antebellum. She is finishing her debut CD with a release date set for late April.

Ever So Klever
is a six-member dance band that calls its style “power swing.” The four men and two women mix influences of the dance bands of the ‘30s with modern flavors, including rockabilly, jazz, country and Latin. Led by Michelle Leigh’s bluesy vocals, the band mixes guitars, drums and horns from Rich Plaza, Joel Enriquez, Ron Rummage, Paula Monique and Kris Cardella. The band plays at local venues throughout South Florida.

Electric Hearts
calls itself a garage band, playing classic rock with some electric and acoustic music thrown in.  Practice spaces aside, its list of covers shows the band’s diversity. They play Otis Redding’s “Dock of the Bay” as easily as Fleetwood Mac’s “Dreams,” then roll into The Who’s lively “Squeeze Box.” The six member band, who all make their homes in the Western Communities plays private parties and community events.

The Tulucci Family Band is just what the name implies Dad Matt and Mom Bridget, and their kids, 9-year-old Matty Boy and 11-year old Cherish,  comprise a family band that rocks on covers of music from three decades of the rock era.

From the depths of society, from the ''sticks'' of a modern metropolis, from the fantasy and the imagination, a new musical group emerges from the woods of Loxahatchee, Florida with a take on the old reliable genres of Classic and Southern Rock.
